I have started working on Tally 9 with ERP. Having worked on Tally 5 before this, version 9 works like a dream. This is much more user friendly and easy to work with. One single example i can give regarding the difference between 2 versions is....In version 5, while doing purchase or sales voucher, i had to key in purchase value and also the respective VAT, but in version 9, i am only required to put in the sales or purchase value, the VAT is automatically calculated by Tally....simple isnt it?
